What Is Groundwork?

Groundwork enables your field staff to effortlessly capture information about your assets, events and hazards directly onto the GIS platform you trust – MapInfo on a Windows PC.

Groundwork utilises standard MapInfo tables and workspaces, and a data capture form template that you edit in Excel. The program generates picklists from the values you list in the spreadsheet columns, as well as auto-populated values for date, time, GPS coordinates, etc.

In the field, Groundwork displays your position on a map, and allows features to be captured or updated with the bare minimum of pen-strokes. Back at the office, the one-touch synchronisation function synchronises one or more Tablet PCs to your network GIS.
