Pozi Connect for M1s User Guide
See our separate Pozi Connect for M1s Setup Guide for everything you need to get set up.
Ensure you have the latest Vicmap Address and Vicmap Property Simplified datasets downloaded and extracted to a location on your PC or network.
When you're ready to run Pozi Connect, run through each of the tasks in turn to generate the M1:
- 1 - Import Property System
- 1.5 - Process Property System
- 2 - Import Vicmap TABs/SHPs (specify the folders containing your VMADD and VMPROP datasets)
- 2.5 - Process Vicmap
- 3 - Generate M1
Each task should take no longer than a couple of minutes each.
The completed M1 is found in the specified output folder, usually
- 3.5 - Generate Discrepancy Reports
You can run the discrepancy report task, and it will give you a breakdown of the discrepancies that Pozi Connect has found. When cleaning up your data, these can potentially be more useful than the M1 as they are separate, targeted lists of specific types of errors. The four reports prefixed with 'Actionable' are ones that can potentially be cleaned up within the rates system. There is some overlap between the reports, but you can pick the most appropriate report(s) to drip feed to them.
As issues within the rates system are resolved, you can regenerate the discrepancy reports to get an up-to-date list of the remaining issues. Please note, you'll need to run tasks 1 and 1.5 (and 2 and 2.5 if you've updated your Vicmap data) before running 3.5.
